Admissions may be made by family members or professional clinicians.

A multi-disciplinary admissions committee will review all applications. The committee's job is to select those children who will benefit most from the treatment Brooklawn offers.

Admission Criteria includes the following:

  • Medically stable – not in need of 24-hour medical care
  • Boys – ages 6-17
  • Girls – ages 6-11

Brooklawn accepts residents with a wide-range of diagnoses including:

  • Conduct Disorder
  • Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
  • Bi-polar Disorder
  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
  • Sexual Reactive Disorder
  • Attachment Disorder
  • Depression and Major Depression
  • Anxiety Disorders
  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
  • Antisocial Personality Disorder
  • Borderline Personality Disorder
  • Adjustment Disorders
  • Oppositional Defiant Disorder
  • Psychotic Disorders
  • Asperger’s & Other Autism Spectrum Disorders
