Intensive Residential Treatment

Intensive Residential Treatment or PRTF is Brooklawn’s most intensive residential program. In order to provide residents with the personalized and effective care, we maintain an extremely low 1:3 Staff to Resident ratio in this program. Residents typically have private rooms.

Brooklawn is approved to provide residential care for those with Humana insurance. For more information about this option, please contact Admissions Coordinator, Jeff Brown at 515-0411, or e-mail him at jbrown@brooklawn.net.

The PRTF program admits boys ages 6-17 or girls ages 6-11 who have been hospitalized and need additional treatment before returning to home, or for those young people who are not showing significant progress in outpatient treatment and need a more structured treatment setting.

For a list of appropriate admissions diagnoses please see the Admissions section of the website.
