Group Living Home…

The Group Living home is the least restrictive of Brooklawn’s residential programs. It replicates independent living with therapeutic support. This is a small program limited to ten residents. Residents have semi-private rooms.

The Group Living Home functions as a “lab for living” where adolescents are expected to perform all the normal activities of daily living, but have the benefit of 24/7 supervision and therapeutic support. Therapy in the Group Living Home is done by a Master’s Level clinician.

Residents are expected to do outside activities such as school, employment, and/or community volunteer work, but also must participate in the clinical program.

Many Brooklawn residents utilize the Group Living Home before making the transition to independent living.
