Boy uses birthday to help others

Jacob Hoffmann continued his birthday tradition by using his party to help others. On Jacob’s 10th birthday, in lieu of gifts for himself, he encouraged his party guests to bring donations for the boys that live at Brooklawn.

Jacob collected two footballs, two basketballs, a kickball, a soccer ball, socks, two posters, and two board games. After celebrating his birthday at a local bowling alley, Jacob, his mother and his younger brother delivered the gifts to Brooklawn. Jacob is pictured above with his “birthday” gifts for Brooklawn. Jacob, thanks for “sharing” your birthday with the Brooklawn boys!

Jacob is the son of Eric and Amy Hoffmann, who are members of Immanuel United Chuch of Christ.
