Wild Game Day another hit for Brooklawn children

 

For the fifth consecutive year Southeast Christian Church Men’s Ministry hosted its annual “Wild Game Day!” for the children at Brooklawn.

 

 

 

The group held a cookout, including hot dogs, baked beans, chips, drinks, and cookies; along with games of tug of war, basketball, sack races, face painting. This year they had a motivational speaker for the boys in Wagner, Cypress, Cedars.

The speaker was Bryce Hibbard, Assistant Principal of Moore Traditional School, who spoke to the children about believing in yourself and doing your best. He also donated t-shirts, and books entitled “7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens.” .
