Construction begins on new splashpark

Construction crews from KM Stemler began work this week on Brooklawn’s Splash Park on the Kosair Charities Children’s Campus.

The project is part of Brooklawn's "Horizons of Hope" Capital Campaign an effort by Brooklawn to expand its campus to help more emotionally troubled children and upgrade existing facilities to better serve the children currently in its care.

 

Iinstallation of the splash park is scheduled to be completed in 30 - 45 days.

As you can imagine the flowing fountains and sprays of cool water are much anticipated by the Brooklawn children.

 

 

Special thanks to the members and churches of the Lincolnland Association of the United Church of Christ in Southern Indiana for raising the necessary funds to help make the splash park a reality.
