Since 2001 the Cornerstone Class of Southeast Christian Church has taken a group of Brooklawn children on an annual fishing trip.

The group travels to a rock quarry owned by Guy and Jeanine Raymond.

 

According to Missy Fountain, Director of Community Involvement, the outing is one of the most anticipated events of the year.

"The children love this day…they all catch something…some as many as 12 fish!!' Fountain said.  "After they fish they all have a cookout and eat.  They love the cook-out part too."

Brooklawn would like to thank the members of the Cornerstone Class for their extended friendship to Brooklawn and for helping make memories for the children that surely last a lifetime.
