A celebration of reading

 

 

 

 

To celebrate Read Across America, held each year in conjunction with the birthday of Dr. Seuss, volunteer readers greeted the Brooklawn students with their renditions of: The Cat in the Hat, Oh The Places You Go, Green Eggs and Ham, and other of the famed author's favorites.

The celebration ended with a visit from the Cat in the Hat and a birthday cake in honor of Dr. Seuss. Thanks to volunteers from Texas Roadhouse, Kiwanis Club of St. Matthews and UFPC.
