Group pays it forward to Brooklawn


An abundance of school supplies were delivered to Brooklawn Child & Family Services by Sherry Rowe, LCSW, of Our Lady of Peace.  She and other colleagues from Jewish and St. Mary's HealthCare collected the school supplies as part of a leadership training program.  After choosing Brooklawn for their “Pay it Forward” project, they involved co-workers by initiating a “Change for Change” program, a UL/UK Day, and school supply donation site.

Besides the school supplies, they also collected $230 to help purchase the Brooklawn children some athletic equipment.  The leaders of the “Pay it Forward” project were Carolyn Wise of MCE, Brenda Junk of SMEH, Bryan Wright of Frazier Rehab, Josh Woolen of RSC, Carmen Lopp of SMEH, and Sherry Rowe of OLOP.
