Brooklawn Welcomes Guests for 12th Annual German Heritage Dinner

The Brooklawn Auxilliary held it's annual German Heritage Dinner on Sunday, October 19, and it was - as always - a wonderful time of fellowship.

This year's dinner marks the 12th consecutive year the Brooklawn Auxilliary has welcomed guests for a traditional German fare of Konigsberger Klopse, Rotkohl, Spatzle, & Bohnen mit Schinken (which translates as German Meatballs, Red Cabbage, Noodles, and Green Beans).

As one guest put it, "This is one of the best places to get a true authentic German meal."

Um....we couldn't agree more.

The dinner honors Brooklawn's German Protestant roots dating back to our founding in the 1800s.
