Volunteers spend 11th Christmas Eve with Brooklawn boys

For the 11th year in a row, long-time Brooklawn supporter Cindy Mineer and her friends, many who are her co-workers at UPS , collected gifts for the Brooklawn boys and distributed them on Christmas Eve.

They brought donated sporting equipment, stuffed animals, art sets, action figures, books, blankets and Christmas decorations.

Cindy and her “crew of elves” spent over five hours on Christmas Eve visiting all eleven cottages on the Brooklawn campus. They even made time to visit the boys at the Schuff Lane group home the prior week.

Brooklawn appreciates Cindy’s commitment to this long-standing tradition and would like to give a special thanks to all of her friends and co-workers that make this event possible.
