Bazaar for Brooklawn at
Whitehall House and Gardens

Gray skies and soggy conditions didn't dampen the spirits of friends and supporters of Brooklawn as they gathered at historic Whitehall House and Gardens recently for the "Bazaar for Brooklawn."

The event was coordinated by Lori Echols, Brooklawn Board member and long-time supporter, with the help of her friends in the Welcome Wagon/Newcomers group of Louisville.

Along with touring this historic Louisville landmark home, attendees were able to purchase items donated by local shops and artists with all proceeds going to help Brooklawn.

Event sponsors included: Four Roses Bourbon which held a bourbon tasting, Upper Crust Catering providing the food, Southern Wine and Spirits which featured the wines of Monthaven and Silverbirch wineries, and Nanz & Kraft Florist, which provided the lovely table decorations.

Guests were treated to music from Big Poppa Stampley as well as an appearance by Brooklawn's Own Percussionists (BOP).

Several thousand dollars were raised to help Brooklawn in its mission to help children who suffer the effects of abuse, neglect or other life trauma.

Brooklawn would like to thank Mrs. Echols and all those who attended this function for their support. We'd also like to thank Reliable Rentals for donating the tent, tables and chairs to the event, and Whitehall House and Gardens for opening their doors.
